WWE star Raquel Rodriguez sent her wishes to an AEW star who recently announced getting diagnosed with cancer. Rebel made plenty of appearances as a henchwoman of Britt Baker during the pandemic era and even entered the squared circle a handful of times in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

However, she has been absent for a long time and has had multiple health issues in the past couple of years. In 2024, the 47-year-old star was hospitalized and started her treatment on what she and doctors believed was cryptococcal pneumonia. She tried to cure the illness with antifungals. However, after not improving, she decided to get checked at the Mayo Clinic.

After further inspection, it was revealed that Rebel was diagnosed with primary pulmonary lymphoma (lung cancer). She recently took to Instagram and explained the entire situation and asked everyone to send their prayers for her well-being.

Rebel talks about accompanying Britt Baker in AEW

Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel dominated the women's division due to the numbers game during the pandemic era.

While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, the 47-year-old star said she enjoyed her time with the former AEW Women's World Champion.

"The best part is like, just having so much fun with her. I think I'm this way like I think I would much rather tag with someone or be out there with my friends, because you can react with your friends, and you can talk with them. It's just so much more fun, instead of being out there by yourself," she said.

It remains to be seen if Rebel provides any major update regarding her health.
