A stunning Las Vegas Raiders' trade rumor should spike the interest of the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Detroit Lions as the offseason nears.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Raiders superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby's time in Las Vegas will come to an end this offseason.
Glazer expects Crosby to be with a new franchise in 2026, and also believes a trade will happen before April's draft.
"Maxx [Crosby] is on the other line going ‘Man, screw these guys. They’re shutting me down. I am not about this. Hell, no. I’m not doing it. I left the facility. I’m out. I want to get traded. I’m done.’ I was kind of trying to talk [Maxx] off a ledge,” Glazer continued," Glazer said on the Yahoo Sports Daily show on Wednesday.
Crosby has been unhappy with the Raiders' lack of winning for a while, and it reached a boiling point towards the end of the 2025 season when the superstar edge rusher stormed out of the building after disagreeing with Las Vegas' decision to shut him down for the final two games.
If the Raiders trade Crosby this offseason, which is looking more likely than ever, the 49ers, Bills, and Lions should heavily pursue the five-time Pro Bowler, especially Buffalo.
The Bills are just a few pieces away from being Super Bowl favorites, and one of the pieces missing is a game-changing pass-rusher.
Crosby would provide just that for Buffalo, and also show that the franchise is serious about competing for a championship with quarterback Josh Allen in the middle of his prime.
Though the Bills are a logical landing spot for Crosby, don't count out San Francisco and Detroit.
The 49ers and Lions already have an All-Pro-level pass rusher in Nick Bosa and Aidan Hutchinson, but both teams should still inquire about Crosby and look to build a dynamic pass-rushing duo.
We'll see where Crosby lands, but it looks like his tenure with the Raiders could be coming to an end sooner rather than expected. Buffalo would be our ideal suitor for the 28-year-old, but many other teams, including the 49ers and the Lions, will be interested.
