The Las Vegas Raiders are having another horrid season, as the team is currently 3-12, and superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby may have had enough.
According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, Crosby didn't like the Raiders' plan of shutting him down for the final two games of the year. As a result, Crosby left the facility in anger, and Glazer adds that the situation could raise questions about his future in Las Vegas.
"Scoopage: Raiders told Maxx Crosby they want to shut him down last two games. Crosby, who has played with injuries for much of the year, vehemently disagreed and has left the building nflonfox has learned. This could lead to questions on his future in Vegas," Glazer said on X.
Crosby has stated previously that he wants to be a Raider for life, but it's clear the franchise is wasting his talent and going nowhere. It would be best for both sides to move on and seek a fresh start.
All 32 teams would relish a chance to add Crosby to their roster, but the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers are the three most logical landing spots. Crosby wants to win, and those three franchises give him a chance to do that.
Buffalo's pass rush has left a lot to be desired, especially the edge rusher play from Greg Rousseau and Joey Bosa. Crosby would elevate Sean McDermott's defense to another level and push the Bills closer to a Super Bowl title in 2026, if they don't win it this year.
The same goes for Chicago, who have had a fantastic season under first-year head coach Ben Johnson. Crosby would be an electric addition to the young team and make them juggernauts in the NFC North.
However, there isn't a better fit for Crosby in 2026 than San Francisco. Pairing Crosby with a healthy Joey Bosa would be a nightmare for any opposing offense, and unlike the Bears and Bills, the 49ers have the cap space this offseason to take on Crosby's monster deal.
Overall, if Crosby does end up getting traded, San Francisco is my favorite to land the five-time Pro Bowler. However, any contender should explore making a move for the Raiders' pass rusher.
