Raiders blockbuster trade rumor could lead to deal with Lions, Seahawks or Packers

The Las Vegas Raiders must figure out the future of superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby this offseason, and it sounds like the franchise is starting to accept reality.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, teams interested in trading for Crosby believe Las Vegas is more willing to move their franchise cornerstone than before.

Schultz adds that the situation is only going to intensify.

"Sources: Teams in the trade market have gotten the sense that the Raiders are more open to the idea of trading Maxx Crosby, and it’s a situation that is only going to intensify," Schultz said.

It's clear that Crosby wants to be traded from the Raiders, but Las Vegas' asking price is really high, and the team hasn't shown much interest in moving him.

However, general manager John Spytek may actually seriously listen to offers now, and that's great news for the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and Green Bay Packers.

Pairing Aidan Hutchinson with Crosby would give the Lions one of the greatest pass-rushing duos in history, but it remains to be seen whether the Lions can pay two edge rushers top-of-the-market money.

Seattle and Green Bay are more logical landing spots for Crosby. Though the Seahawks are low in draft capital, they have a good amount of cap space and could pull off a blockbuster deal for Crosby to take their Super Bowl defense to the next level.

The Packers could cut Rashan Gary in the coming weeks, and if they do, edge rusher will be a pressing need. Adding Crosby would be the ultimate win-now move from general manager Brian Gutekunst.

Overall, the Raiders could actually end up trading Crosby based on the recent rumor from Schultz, and if they do, the Lions, Seahawks, and Packers could be possible trade suitors.
