Twitch streamer Blaire "QTCinderella" recently came under criticism after a series of now-deleted stream clips, featuring Vanillamace and Katie B, resurfaced online. In the clips, QT suggested that if she associated herself with racist or "hateful" people, she did not necessarily have to share their values or outlooks. Her statements received backlash across X and created debate across the industry.
When QTCinderella initially made the comments in discussion with Vanillamace, the latter visibly nodded in agreement and even echoed some of QT's points. For example, in one particular instance, QT mentioned how certain members of her family carry "homophobic" or "racist" values:
"Bit*h, I'm an ally. It doesn't matter who I talk to ('Yeah,' said Vanillamace). Unfortunately, there are people in my family who are racist, there are people in my family who are bigoted, there are people in my family who are homophobic... I still love my family... they have good qualities... fighting hate with hate will never get anything, anywhere... ('No, I see that')."Vanillamace later chimes in with a similar experience, resonant with QT's ideology:
"There's definitely people in my family as well that are... pretty Trumpy and... I grew up around a lot of that too... What am I supposed to do? Blow up the dinner table? ('Yeah, exactly,' said QTCinderella)."Later, after the backlash, Vanillamace seemed to backtrack, claiming that she never agreed with QT's sentiments, and was visibly uncomfortable when the discussion first happened:
"Simply didn't agree with it, I was uncomfortable, obviously... You know who I am, you know what I stand for, if you're someone who's been watching me, then you already f**king know... You know what I stand for, you know how I'm gonna go about this."Faze Clan members like Stable Ronaldo and Lacy were accused of homophobia and transphobia after the incident. This was a result of controversial jokes certain Clan members made in the past being brought up recently, especially because QTCinderella frequently collaborates with the Clan. A few members from FaZe responded, calling out Vanillamace for being hypocritical:
"Here's what happened. [Vanillamace] was in a Discord call. QT said something where QT was right. Vanilla agreed with it and then, because of the [backlash] and hate she got... she caved in, went live, and now is throwing QT under the bus," said FaZe Lacy." "I'm pretty sure [Vanillamace] was at our 4th of July party. Because you're seeing tweets on the internet calling us transphobes, racists, homophobes... Now, it's 'Oh, I'm uncomfortable with her statements,' you were not uncomfortable," said Stable Ronaldo.QTCinderella responds to backlash from members of the Vanillamace community
In a stream on October 30, 2025, QTCinderella pointed out a viewer comment claiming that "multiple FaZe members" have "attacked" Vanillamace online. QT responded and mentioned her own struggles with the Vanillamace community:
"'Seeing multiple FaZe members attack Vanilla,' yes, I've also seen a lot of Vanilla Mace members attack me. Please go to her Reddit and read the comments... You can check my Reddit and see if there's any attacks on her. There's not. You can check my Discord and see if any of my fans are attacking her. They are not. Anything I can control, there are no attacks happening."She also stated that the attacks are happening one-way and that her community is being cordial with the rest of the streaming sphere.
In other news, QTCinderella responded to the backlash in an emotional stream, apologizing to the queer community and people of color.
