Jason Whitlock called out the Las Vegas Raiders coach, Pete Carroll, for mismanaging his offensive weapons. Amid the team's struggles against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, he shared a tweet on X highlighting how they are not utilizing their 2025 first-round pick, Ashton Jeanty, properly on the field.
Whitlock then said that Pete Carroll and his team are relying too much on their veteran quarterback, Geno Smith, to make big plays on the offense.
"2 carries for Ashton Jeanty? Make it make sense. Putting the load on Geno like he's Dan Marino."•

The Raiders have a 6-3 lead at the end of the first quarter thanks to two field goals by placekicker Daniel Carlson. However, the Cowboys completely flipped the script on them from the start of the second quarter.
Dak Prescott scored three passing touchdowns, giving his team some breathing room. Before halftime, Carlson scored a 38-yard field goal, minimizing the deficit to 24-9.
However, in the third quarter, Dak Prescott found wide receiver Ryan Flournoy with a two-yard touchdown. Raiders quarterback Geno Smith scored his first touchdown of the night in the fourth quarter when he found WR Tre Tucker with a six-yard passing touchdown.
Ashton Jeanty then followed up with a rushing touchdown. Unfortunately, it was not enough to secure the win. Pete Carroll's team ended the night with a disappointing 33-16 loss at home.
