Puppy Bowl 2026 schedule, start time, TV channel and how to stream the canine competition

The most beloved part of Super Bowl weekend — the Puppy Bowl — is back and ready to steal hearts across the globe.

The call-to-adoption event will return on Sunday with 150 dogs from 72 shelters across the country. Puppies on Team Fluff and Team Ruff will be seeking not only a big win, but also a new home.

Fans can expect to see pups like "Benito," "Barker Playfield" and "Devon-tails Smith" take the field for the main event, fighting for the MVP award (Most Valuable Puppy) and Lombarky Trophy.

For the first time ever, the Puppy Bowl will also spotlight senior dogs during halftime with an exhibition game between Team Oldies and Team Goldies.

Puppy Bowl 2026 start time

• Date: Sunday, Feb. 8
• Time: 2 p.m. ET

Puppy Bowl 22 will begin at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 8. The pregame show and Puppy Combine will air at 1 p.m. ET before the game kicks off.

The game is scheduled to run for three hours, ending at 5 p.m. ET.

Outside of football, the Puppy Bowl is focused on raising awareness for for pet adoption.
