The World Baseball Classic is fast approaching, and rosters are still getting figured out.
Each country has to determine which players will actually be available to them from their given MLB organizations. Puerto Rico is finally figuring out some of its pieces.
Manager Yadier Molina confirmed in a new interview at least 11 players who will take part in the tournament.
Those 11:
- Francisco Lindor
- Carlos Correa
- Nolan Arenado
- Edwin Diaz
- Jose Berrios
- Heliot Ramos
- Martin Maldonado
- Victor Caratini
- Javier Baez
- Fernando Cruz

They certainly have the same strong, veteran infield that they usually have.
It'll be interesting to see where players line up.
Lindor pretty much has to play shortstop.
Arenado and Correa can both play third base, but maybe one can play second.
Baez played outfield some for the Tigers in 2025, which should help here. He can likely join Ramos out there in the grass.
There will still be more to come here, but it's certainly the start to a strong squad.
