Jerry Jones is teasing a monumental deadline trade, just as he did last year, which turned out to be wideout Jonathan Mingo.
Appearing on Stephen A. Smith's eponymous SiriusXM show on Monday, the Dallas Cowboys owner said without revealing whom he had agreed to trade for:
“Immediately it will have him on the field and it will address some of the things that have been our shortcomings.”•

Jerry Jones admits to creating "controversy", continues feud with Micah Parsons
In the same podcast appearance, Jerry Jones made a startling admission about his need for media attention:
“The Dallas Cowboys probably have the kind of interest that we have in no small part because we stay out front and we stay controversial. When it gets slow, I stir that s*** up. Fact. I just want to be relevant. I just want you to be looking at us.”He also revisited his contract dispute with Micah Parsons, recalling a time when the multiple-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler was seen lying on a training table during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons:
“Not one time, not even in the hottest of days and two-a-days in August in Texas, between eleven in the morning or when they quit practicing or four in the afternoon, did I never see any one of these two go over and lay on a damn training table in front of a million people.”The Cowboys face the Arizona Cardinals later tonight. Kickoff is at 7:15 pm CT on ESPN/ABC.
