John Cena’s former rival sends 2-word message after being announced for Last Time is Now tournament

John Cena's Last Time is Now Tournament is set to kick off next week, on the November 10 edition of WWE RAW from his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. The 16-man tournament will determine who faces the Never Seen 17 in his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.

Two first-round matches have been announced so far, with Damian Priest vs. Rusev and Sheamus vs. Shinsuke Nakamura set for next week. The Celtic Warrior has a long history with John Cena, having defeated him in 2009 to win his first WWE Championship. The veteran posted a brief two-word message on X/Twitter, hyping up his upcoming match with Shinsuke Nakamura:

The two veterans have only had one televised singles match so far. They battled each other on the April 22, 2024, edition of RAW, where Sheamus emerged victorious. Perhaps this time, Nakamura could exact revenge for the loss and advance in the tournament.

It remains to be seen whether the Irishman can put away Nakamura in what promises to be an exciting encounter next week on RAW.

John Cena's former rival also interfered in the World Tag Team Championship match on WWE RAW

Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day battled AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship on Monday Night RAW. The heels were assisted by Dominik Mysterio, who distracted the referee while Balor took advantage of the situation by hitting Styles with a shillelagh.

However, Mysterio was confronted and booted over the barricade by Sheamus. The former WWE Champion lost to JD McDonagh last week after Finn Balor hit him with a shillelagh.

And now, it seems that a rivalry is brewing between him and McDonagh, and Balor. Will The Judgment Day interfere in Sheamus' match with Nakamura to cost him his spot in John Cena's The Last Time is Now Tournament? Fans must tune in to RAW next week to find out.
