Pro Bowl voting is in and Chicago fans showed out. Just how many Bears will we see?

Truthfully, I'm not sure you could have drawn up a better weekend for a Bears fan if you tried.

First, Chicago defeated the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night, sending the city into bedlam. The following day, star QB Caleb Williams was seen handing out free meals to the city while wearing a cheese-grater foam hat, akin to the Packers' cheeseheads.

The weekend ended with Chicago's old friend, Aaron Rodgers, helping them officially clinch the playoffs for the first time since 2020 by defeating the Detroit Lions

On Monday, when the final Pro Bowl votes came in from fans, the city of Chicago got even more good news.

Pro Bowl list riddled with Bears

Initial voting came in today, and if the Bears aren't playing for a Lombardi, they could very likely take over the Pro Bowl.

There were 10 Bears that came in first place, two that came in second, three in third, and a couple in fourth and sixth among their positions.

Chicago fans absolutely showed out in getting their favorite Bears into the Pro Bowl conversation. Not only that, but QB Caleb Williams and S Kevin Byard both came in the top five of all voting among all players.

Fan voting is not the end-all be-all of who makes it, as it only accounts for a third of the total final roster selection. There is still player and coaches voting to take place, but this is a great start.

The Bears are having a Cinderella run type of season behind second-year Caleb Williams and first-year head coach Ben Johnson. If this is what the first year with Ben Johnson looks like, I bet Chicago fans are ready to offer him a lifetime contract.
