On October 27, 2025, Bloomberg reported that BTS is preparing for a massive world tour following the release of their new album next spring. The upcoming tour is expected to feature 65 concerts globally. It will be the group’s first full-scale comeback since completing their military service earlier this year. Over 30 of these shows are expected to take place in North America.

If the rumors are accurate, it could be one of the biggest international tours ever organized by a K-pop group. All seven members (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) finished their mandatory military service in June 2025. Since then, the group has been working on new music.

Their upcoming album, their first as a complete group in years, is expected to be released in March 2026. It is reportedly designed to be the lead-up to their global concert tour. This marks BTS’ first world tour since their Permission to Dance on Stage performances between 2021 and 2022, and their first full seven-member show since the sold-out Las Vegas concerts in April 2022, which grossed about $18 million. According to Bloomberg, BigHit Music stated,

"Details regarding the dates and scale of BTS’ new world tour remain unconfirmed. The dates you mentioned are not the latest number we are discussing."

Following the news, ARMYs worldwide flooded online platforms. They shared their excitement about finally seeing the group reunite on stage, with many jokingly warning each other to start saving money. An X user, @agustfromd, wrote,

@PopBase In other words: PREPARE YOUR WALLETS, ARMYS

Others said they were ready to fight for tickets, predicting record-breaking sales once seats go live. Some fans joked that antis should leave the fandom to boost their odds of getting tickets.

Universe and everything good in life I NEED TO BE THERE TO SEE MY BOYS MY FAMILY

Leave the fandom guys I'm so serious leave it, i need those tickets don't make a crowd you're in millions i ain't fighting a boycotter or anti for tickets

remembering i have to fight literal antis for tickets

the main issue isn’t even saving money it’s the fact that armys are gonna sell out those tickets faster than i can put my card number in

Meanwhile, others just celebrated the long-awaited OT7 return. They called it the "BTS domination.”

BTS’ comeback album, economic impact, and what to expect from the 2026 tour

The group had initially planned a world tour in 2020, but the pandemic forced them to cancel it. The news of BTS’s potential 2026 world tour comes amid growing anticipation in both the entertainment and financial industries. Analysts across South Korea have predicted a sharp rebound in the K-pop sector once BTS resumes full-group activities.

According to reports from Herald Corp, industry experts believe the group’s comeback and tour will greatly boost HYBE’s financial performance. It may potentially increase the company’s operating profits by more than the previous year.

Analysts project 2026 BTS Tour will drive a major rebound, with operating profit expected to exceed ₩100B per quarter once the tour starts.💜 Despite short-term earnings pressure, analysts see HYBE’s multi-label expansion + BTS leverage as powerful mid-to-long-term catalysts.💁🏽‍♀️

The group’s 2026 calendar is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious schedules in K-pop history. It will reportedly span eight months and cover 65 cities from May to December 2026. With an estimated attendance of over four million fans worldwide, each concert is expected to attract an average of 60,000 attendees.

Their comeback album is set to be released in March 2026. It will mark the septet's first group studio album since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020.

While HYBE has not officially confirmed tour dates, the mere speculation has sparked huge excitement among fans.
