Rockstar Games recently brought back Halloween weather in GTA Online, along with other spooky content. The Halloween weather completely changes the in-game weather. It is constantly cloudy and rainy, with strong yellow, green, and orange hues. While this weather can feel cinematic and spooky to some, it can annoy others.

Hence, here are two tricks to remove Halloween weather in GTA Online.

Ways to turn off Halloween weather in GTA Online

Temporary and simple method

Head to the garage and then to the apartment to temporarily remove the Halloween weatherHead to the garage and then to the apartment to temporarily remove the Halloween weather

The first method to remove Halloween weather in GTA Online is quite simple but has to be repeated every hour. To temporarily remove it, you need to head inside an apartment garage that has direct access to the apartment. Once you enter the garage, head directly to the apartment, and then back out in the world.

This technique will reset the Halloween weather for that particular in-game day. After about 48 minutes in real life, the Halloween weather will return, after which the aforementioned process needs to be repeated to remove it.

Permanent and slightly longer method

To permanently remove Halloween weather in GTA Online, you will have to tweak time of day and time freezing settings in Rockstar Editor's Director Mode. Here are all the steps that need to be taken to execute this:

  1. Head to a Story Mode and load a save game in which you know it is daytime in the game. You can try out different save files and see which one was saved during the day.
  2. Pause the game and head to the "Rockstar Editor" tab.
  3. Select Director Mode.
  4. Set the time to "Midday".
  5. Select "Actors" and choose your GTA Online character.
  6. Once loaded in the game, open your interaction menu.
  7. Enter Settings.
  8. Ensure that the time is set to "Midday".
  9. Notice the set of buttons and options at the bottom of the screen, where "Freeze Time" will be written.
  10. Press the freeze time button and load the same save file you did at the start from the pause menu.
  11. Once the save file loads, you will notice that the in-game time is stuck and it will remain midday.
  12. Enter an Invite-Only GTA Online lobby and check the time on your phone, which should also say that it is midday.

After doing these steps, you will no longer get the Halloween weather in GTA Online.
