Paris Saint-Germain last year's transfer target Dean Huijsen who opted for Bournemouth is now the centre of attraction for Premier League clubs.
20-year-old Spanish center-back, is the target of a high-profile transfer tug-of-war.
Liverpool, the newly crowned Premier League champions, have made a firm offer for Huijsen , as reported by SER Deportivos. Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham have also made formal approaches.
TEAMtalk reports that Chelsea and Liverpool are in the lead. Chelsea have even put him top of their priority list before the Club World Cup.
PSG are still in the mix. With the signing of Willian Pacho, Parisians are still seeking to strengthen their backline, particularly given the uncertainty of Milan Skriniar's future. But they are not alone anymore.
Huijsen's figures for his first Premier League season speak volumes. In 29 games, he assisted in seven Bournemouth clean sheets, made 171 clearances (90 headed), and won 109 duels.

He netted three times and provided an assist. His tackle success rate is 70%, along with 49 interceptions and 96 recoveries.
As per GIVE ME SPORT, Bournemouth are anticipating bids to trigger his £50 million get-out clause this summer.
That figure has not deterred suitors. Chelsea are said to have made a more enticing financial deal, and Huijsen is understood to prefer their cause.
Marquinhos future at PSG is uncertain
Marquinhos could be on his way out of PSG this summer. Though under contract until 2028, the club is reportedly open to selling the 30-year-old Brazilian captain for around €40 million, per Sacha Tavolieri.
Saudi side Al-Ittihad have shown interest, making a potential move to the Middle East a real possibility.
After over a decade in Paris, Marquinhos's time at the Parc des Princes might be nearing its end.
