Ciara gave a glimpse of the Met Gala fun that happened after the main festivities, taking to Instagram to share a fun snap of her with besties Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony.
For the actual Met Gala event, the musician appeared alongside her NFL superstar husband Russell Wilson on the blue carpet wearing a black and silver gown packed with crystals by LaQuan Smith. On her feet were a pair of black pointed-toe pumps that featured an exaggerated triangular upper and a closed-back design. The shoes were completed with a stiletto heel measuring between 4-to-5 inches in height. Styling her hair in sleek blonde bob style, the entrepreneur rocked a smoky makeup look.
As for hubby Russell, he opted for a black tuxedo with a matching black coat, and accessorized his look with a pair of black sunglasses, a cane and a crystal brooch. The event was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and the theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with an accompanying dress code of "Tailored for You," which honored and explored the history of Black dandism.

Afterwards, Ciara posted a picture of her with Kardashian and Anthony at an afterparty, captioning the pic, "After the party it’s the after party @lala@kimkardashian 🤟🏽," with Kardashian responding, "Hahahhaha IN THE CLUB WE ARE ALL FAMILY!!!." Fans of the trio commented, "Them 3 have been friends for years😍," and "These queens are who they think they are beautiful 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽," and "I love their friendship circle 😍❤️."
