Prayers for former WWE Superstar Summer Rae’s speedy recovery

Former WWE star Summer Rae has made numerous sporadic appearances in the company over the past few years. While the star’s return would be awaited by fans around the world, fans have been praying for her speedy recovery after she underwent surgery recently.

In a recent story on Instagram, Summer Rae revealed that she recently underwent surgery after doctors diagnosed her with precancerous melanoma. Rae shared that a routine skin check led to the discovery of a concerning spot, which was quickly removed before it could develop further.

She credited early detection for preventing a more serious situation and urged fans not to ignore regular health screenings. Expressing gratitude for her early recovery, she called the experience a wake-up call and encouraged everyone to prioritise preventive care.

“Get your yearly skin check,” she urged in the video. “Five weeks ago, I went in to get my skin checked, and they found something that was very precancerous melanoma. They asked me to come in today to have it removed. I just got stitches. I didn’t think I’d be getting stitches on a Saturday, but here we are. Thank God I went in…” she said. [H/T Ringside News]

Rae has been itching to get back to WWE

While the star has not wrestled full-time in years now, Summer Rae has been itching to get back to the WWE ring once again. In a recent interview with talkSPORT, the legend revealed that she still watches the product and the developments the company has made, and is very eager to return to the ring once again.

"I’m still very good friends with a lot of the girls and a lot of the guys in WWE, and I still watch it avidly. I’m such a big fan, and it’s just a part of me. It always will be. And you know, I get the itch to go back all the time," she added.

Fans will have to wait and see when Summer Rae gets the opportunity to make her in-ring return once again.
