Popular star busted open after disturbing spot at AEW Blood & Guts 2025

A major star has already been busted open to begin this year's edition of AEW Blood and Guts. This happened in an interesting spot, with the individuals involved utilizing the brutal confines to their advantage.

For those not in the know, the AEW Blood and Guts match is similar to WWE's War Games match in terms of the double ring, and the match does not begin unless every competitor is in the ring. The major difference is how the match ends, as the only way to win the contest is via submission or forcing your opponent to surrender verbally.

The interesting part of this year's show is the first-ever women's edition of this brutal match. This will be a 12-woman contest, which will see the team of Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Jamie Hayter, Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, and Kris Statlander taking on the Triangle of Madness, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and Mercedes Moné.

The two women who opened the bout were Willow and Skye Blue, and there was no shortage of chaos to begin the match. The former TBS Champion already dug deep into her bag, pulling out a Slingshot Alley Oop and sending Skye face-first into the cage.

She followed this off with a Pounce, sending Skye once more to the corner of the cage. She was then spotted moments later with blood gushing all over her forehead. This was just less than 10 minutes into this brutal contest, and blood had already been spilled.

This is only a preview of the carnage that will take place as 10 other women are set to take center stage. The stakes are high between these women, who all have a bone to pick with one another. It remains to be seen who will survive AEW Blood and Guts
