Kuminga has been solid this season, averaging 14.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game for the Warriors. He was a starter in the Warriors' first 12 games of the season.

Meanwhile, Richards put up 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game so far this season.

The Warriors are coming off a tough loss against the defending champions OKC Thunder, last night, where Kuminga played 24 minutes in the game and tallied 13 points, three rebounds, and four assists on 6-of-9 shooting from the field.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reaffirms his belief in Jonathan Kuminga alongside other stars in lineups

Warriors Steve Kerr has allowed Jonathan Kuminga to thrive alongside Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Al Horford, and Jimmy Butler on the starting lineup to start the season.

With such a lineup, concerns were raised about their spacing, considering Kuminga's 33.3% shooting from the three-point line. However, Kerr reaffirmed that their lineup will force the team to execute better and fit alongside each other.

"Well, there wasn't much spacing, which is the big concern but we've got to continue to give them some looks," Kerr said. "I think Al [Horford] kind of changes the equation here. I'm really intrigued to put Al and JK together. With Draymond or Jimmy, that lineup makes perfect sense." "If we're tying to play Jimmy, JK, and Draymond, just from the other night, immediately the spacing was not great. And it puts pressure on our offense to really have to execute. But it's early in camp, too. If we can execute the stuff we're trying to operate, it can be effective. But it's just not a smooth fit."

The Warriors are currently sitting in the ninth seed with a 6-6 record amid a looming road trip across the West and East coast.
