A year ago, Ratchet & Clank fans woke up to the news that PlayStation had heard their cries for a new game, only for that game to be a mobile exclusive. While not the most exciting news considering the last Ratchet & Clank game came out in 2021, you sometimes have to take what you can get. Things could be worse, as the long-suffering fans of Sucker Punch’s furry mascot, Sly Cooper, know all too well.

It’s hard to tell how folks felt about the game because it never got an official release. Earlier this year, a post in the game’s Discord announced that the game wasn’t launching globally on October 5th as planned following a soft launch in a number of regions including the UK and Canada. The reaction to the game’s shutdown has mostly been folks from all over the world lamenting that they never got the chance to play it.

Rip Ranger Rumble, we literally hardly new ye.
