Zheng Qinwen attended the Lady Dior's Art exhibition in a black dress. The Chinese player concluded her 2025 season after competing at the China Open.

Qinwen had to walkover in the second round of the China Open against Linda Noskova. She pulled out from the match due to her right elbow surgery. Following this, she went on to withdraw from the Wuhan Open and then eventually wrapped up her season.

One of the users on Reddit recently shared a video of her appearance at the Lady Dior Art Exhibition in Shanghai. The 23-year-old donned a long black dress and wore a three-layered chain. She embraced the look by adding a multicolored handbag. Here is a snippet of her look:

Here is another glimpse of her look:

Amid the China Open, Qinwen revealed that competing in the tournament wasn't in her plan. Talking about her injury, she said (as quoted by WTA tennis):

"Actually, China Open wasn't in our plan because like I said on court, I wasn't at my 100% still. Like 80%, 70%, but I'm able to compete. The recovery process is very long. At the beginning I healed really fast. Somehow when it comes to the last 20%, somehow it just didn't get better," said Qinwen.

When Zheng Qinwen revealed why she keeps her distance from other WTA players

Last year ahead of the WTA Finals, Zheng Qinwen sat for a media conversation, where she was asked about her friendships on the tour. Revealing that she prefers to keep her distance from her competitors, she said:

"My answer is very clear: I prefer always keep distance with the player. Has a lot of competition with me. I am, like, type of sensitive with the heart. I don't feel if I become friend with someone and I have to compete with them on court, I feel I'm not able 100% focus and fighting. When I have to scream, C'mon, I'm not able to do that because I will feel a bit weird," said Zheng Qinwen.

She further said that she has no reasons to make friends on the tour.

"Once I figure out that, I decided don't try to make a friend on tour because there's so many people outside of tennis world. Why I have to just make friends here? I come here to compete with them, to win the match," she added.

Zheng Qinwen opened her 2025 season by competing at the Australian Open, where she fell short of advancing further than the second round.
