Recently, a viral photo of BTS' Jungkook entering his house with a girl, speculated as his alleged girlfriend, has been dominating the internet. When the images first landed on the internet, a variety of reactions were expressed by his fandom. On one hand, people were happy to see that the idol was in a relationship, and also expressed their love and support towards the couple if the rumours were true.
On the other hand, several fans were outraged about the news and stated that they were against the relationship. At one point, some also speculated that the viral photo of Jungkook and a girl was AI-created because the idol's shoes were of different colors, and the image also looked suspiciously blurry. As these negative reactions increased, many fans also protested against the idol's alleged new relationship, stating that he was cheating on ARMYs.
In October 2023, during a Weverse livestream, when fans inquired about his dating life, Jungkook stated that he doesn't have any girlfriends and reiterated that ARMYs are his only girlfriends. Here's what he stated:
"Do I have a girlfriends? Why do you keep asking that...I don't have a girlfriend! So, don't ask questions like this. I only have ARMYs...I'm only looking at ARMYs...ARMYs be my girlfriend...OKAY??"Therefore, many revisited this quote and expressed that since Jungkook previously mentioned that ARMYs are his only girlfriends, he can't date any other women. As a result of the same, on November 12, a few sasaengs were spotted outside Jungkook's home with suitcases, with the intention of camping outside until they get to confront the idol.
Additionally, a few videos and photos that landed on the internet also showcase the sasaeng trying to figure out the lock code for the idol's home. A video recorded by a fellow sasaeng who was also camped outside the idol's house showcased that they were noting down different combinations in a notebook to figure out the lock code and break into his home.
The justification they gave was that they had no intentions of getting cheated on by the idol again. When this news landed on the internet, many fans were angered and outraged by the sasaeing's behavior. They expressed that their actions were too far-fetched and demanded that they leave the idol alone since he has the right to be in a relationship with whomever he likes. All you need to know about BTS' Jungkook and his solo activities
BTS' Jungkook, otherwise known as Jeon Jung-kook, made his solo debut with the release of his first single, SEVEN feat. Latto in July 2023. Soon after the same, in September 2023, he released another collaborative single called 3D with Jack Harlow. Around November of the same year, the idol put forth his first studio album, GOLDEN, which held the song, Standing Next to You, as its title track.
The title track also had a remix version released with the American singer, Usher, featuring in the song. In December, the idol enlisted in the military to complete his mandatory service, alongside his bandmate, Jimin, under the Buddy System. During his enlistment, he released one pre-recorded track called, Never Let Go, on the occasion of BTS's 11th debut anniversary.
In June 2025, he and Jimin were discharged from the military. Following the same, the idol mostly spent his time reuniting with his fellow BTS members and reconnecting with ARMYs through Weverse livestreams and social media posts. In September 2025, he made his first public apperance post-discharge at the 2025 New York Fashion Week as Calvin Klein's ambassador.
