PICTURES: Valentin Vacherot, with girlfriend Emily donning white bikini, hits the beach in Mauritius during cozy romantic vacation

Monégasque tennis star Valentin Vacherot had a great year and even earned a nomination for ATP Breakthrough Player of the Year. Hours before the nomination was made official, Vacherot shared his latest retreat in Mauritius with his girlfriend Emily.

On Thursday, Vacherot shared several snaps from their ongoing Mediterranean vacation at Ile Maurice. In one photo, Vacherot is relaxing aboard a boat with Emily leaning close. She was wearing a white bikini while wearing sunglasses. Meanwhile, Vacherot kept things casual in palm-print swim shorts.

They shared a photo posing in the lights of sunset's aftermath. He also captured Emily from behind, carrying her golf bag filled with different sizes of clubs at a course.

"A bit of time off in Mauritius 🇲🇺☀️😃" Vacherot wrote in the caption of the post.

The vacation pics were followed by the nomination of Valentin Vacherot for the ATP Breakthrough Award. Apart from him, Joao Fonseca, Jakub Mensik, and Jack Draper were also nominated.

Valentin Vacherot's girlfriend Emily celebrates Shanghai win

Valentin Vacherot made a breakthrough in China this year. He won the 2025 Shanghai Masters despite being an underdog and was ranked No. 204. He defeated several top-10-ranked opponents, including beating 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the semifinal, on his way to becoming the lowest-ranked champion in an ATP Masters 1000 event.

Following his win in Shanghai, defeating Arthur Rinderknech in the three-set final, Emily took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message celebrating his achievement.

"Forever proud to be by your side. Indescribable feelings and the most deserving two weeks. Shanghai you were a dream. It’s just the beginning @valvacherot I love you always ♥️" she wrote in the caption.

She shared a photo of them kissing while Vacherot was holding the trophy. Vacherot also commented on her post, writing:

"It’s just the beginning, I love you so much ♥️"

Valentin Vacherot and Emily have been dating for several years, but they went public with their relationship in 2023. Lately, she has been frequently attending Vacherot's matches from the players' box. In an interview, Vacherot acknowledged that for the tournament in Shanghai, he was only accompanied by his girlfriend and coach.

Valentin Vacherot's girlfriend, Emily, went to Hickory High School before going to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has reportedly moved to Monaco, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Sports Business Management at the International University of Monaco.
