Alex Pereira recently shared snaps from the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix. The UFC light heavyweight champion is enjoying some time off after his incredible first-round win over Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320.
Pereira reclaimed the title from the Russian in devastating fashion with a KO win. ‘Poatan’ has been traveling around the world since and recently met soccer icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic at AC Milan’s San Siro stadium.
Pereira enjoyed a soccer game watching the Italian giants, and now he is in his home country. The UFC champion shared some snaps with a couple catching the eye.
Pereira stood in front of a huge Ayrton Senna mural. The mural is 88-feet high and showcases the F1 icon celebrating a title.

Pereira was also seen in the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber garage. Gabriel Bortoleto, a Brazilian, is one of the drivers for the Sauber team. He is also the only Brazilian on the current F1 starting grid.
A surprising name for Alex Pereira’s next fight
Alex Pereira has stated his desire to fight Jon Jones at heavyweight. The current UFC light heavyweight king has tremendous respect for ‘Bones’ and the American reciprocates the sentiment.
Jones recently spoke about potentially fighting Pereira at the UFC White House event in 2026. However, there could be another fight on the horizon for the Brazilian.
Jake Paul has been searching for a new boxing opponent ever since the Gervonta Davis fight fell through. Paul recently spoke to ESPN and highlighted that discussions had already taken place with Pereira’s team.
However, 'The Problem Child' says there's one sticking point to the potential fight, with the UFC playing spoilsport:
"His team is down [to do the fight]. I think the only thing preventing it is the UFC, and if these guys can get out of their contracts to fight me. It would be a massive fight at some point, and I know he's down to make it happen."Pereira is one of the biggest names in the combat sports world presently and any event would be a blockbuster with him featuring. However, it is to be seen if he accepts Paul’s invitation, fights Jones or has some other fight on his mind.
