Chris Jericho has suddenly taken to social media to show off his physique amidst his absence from AEW. He looks to be in incredible shape following rumors that he could be headed back to WWE.
The former AEW World Champion has not been seen within the promotion since April this year. In his absence, he has focused on his endeavors outside the ring, including tours with his band, Fozzy, and appearances at conventions and other major events. His contract with the Tony Khan-led company is set to expire by the end of the year, which has led to speculation of him leaving and heading to WWE.
Today, Chris Jericho celebrates his 55th birthday. He has taken to Instagram to post a photo of himself seemingly after a brief workout, as he was showing off his impressive physique following this life milestone. The veteran looked to be in excellent shape.

Amidst rumors of Chris Jericho leaving AEW after more than six years with the company, he was spotted with one of the people he had worked closely with in WWE before his departure.
This was Kevin Owens, and the two posted a photo they shared seemingly at a hockey game. Jericho referenced their partnership in the Stamford-based promotion when they referred to one another as "best friends".

It is unclear what the future holds as The Nueve has not made any concrete moves just yet. There may be some contract negotiations between the three sides, with WWE and AEW looking for ways to gain his favor. It remains to be seen whether he'll decide to re-sign with Tony Khan or go for one more run in the company that started it all for him. Anything is possible at this point.
