Philly reporter is convinced Knicks fans 'have to be stopped' after flower delivery

22 hours ago 3

The fan who sent flowers to a Philadelphia television reporter this week did not leave a name. They left a card, a punchline, and a viral video moment that has now extended a story most assumed was dead after the Knicks swept the 76ers 144-114 last Sunday.

Cheyenne Corin, the 6ABC reporter who was famously overrun by New York fans during a live shot at Xfinity Mobile Arena, returned to her newsroom to find a bouquet of flowers waiting for her at the security desk.

Her on-camera reaction, shared on social media, gave the story another life it probably did not need.

What the reporter said in her on-air response to the gift

The reporter described being notified by station security about the delivery and her confusion over who would actually send her flowers, given she had spent the past week getting trolled by the same fan base.

"Okay, Knicks fans, at this point y'all have to be stopped because you are doing entirely too much. As if trolling me on live television wasn't enough, I get a notification from security at the news station telling me that I have a bouquet of flowers that was delivered. And I'm like, who is delivering me flowers? So then I go look at the card. It says, 'You handled that like a New Yorker... come to the winning team, Knicks in 4.'

"I don't know how to feel about this. Y'all won the game, moved on next round, we'll see ya next season. I don't really need for this. Now I don't know if maybe this person who sent me these beautiful flowers are trying to shoot their shot or not. They actually didn't even leave a name; it's just signed Knicks in 4. But if that is you, reveal yourself in the comments because I would love to know who's responsible for these flowers and this card, okay? This is crazy. Y'all are nuts.”

Knicks fans are diabolical! 😂 They sent flowers to the Philly news reporter who's segment was taken over. The note said:

"You handled that like a New Yorker.. come to the winning team.
-Knicks In 4"

This is what happens when you have 7+ rest days 😭

She asked the anonymous sender to reveal themselves in the comments section, which only invited a wave of new submissions from fans claiming credit.

Whether that produces an actual identification is anyone's guess.

The original viral clip from May 10 already established Corin as one of the more memorable side characters of this postseason. She has handled every wave of attention with the same approach.
