The Philadelphia Eagles’ dynamic receiving duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith was recently named one of the best in the entire NFL by Moe Moton of Bleacher Report.
The pairing of Smith and Brown was named as the fifth-best wide receiver duo in the league, behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati, Puka Nacua And Davante Adams in L.A., CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in Dallas and Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams in Detroit.
“A.J. Brown has racked up 1,000-plus yards in four consecutive seasons, two of them Pro Bowl years. In the same span, DeVonta Smith has three 1,000-yard campaigns,” Moton wrote.
“Even more impressive, they've accumulated those numbers in an offense that's ranked 21st or lower in passing attempts. So, both wideouts are making the most of fewer opportunities than wideouts who play in pass-heavy systems.”
