Phil Mickelson claims getting 15x returns on investment from $680.6B-worth Elon Musk 

Phil Mickelson reacted to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s take on Elon Musk. The American golfer is enjoying time away from the greens these days, and on Thursday, he shared an old video of Ocasio-Cortez.

During an Instagram Live session back in February, she slammed Musk and called him an “unintelligent person.”

"This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed...........This dude is not smart, and the danger in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has, I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant, but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we know of,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

A video of her was shared by Defiant L’s on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, and on Thursday, Mickelson reshared it on his social media account. He was critical of AOC’s opinion and claimed that every time he sent Elon, who has a net worth of $680.6 billion (via Forbes), a “check,” he got back “15x” in return. He wrote:

"This is one of my favorite videos. Elon Musk is one of the smartest and most impactful human beings EVER. Let me ask you why is it that every time I send a check to AOC (government)it’s gone and I get told to send more. Every time I send a check to Elon, in a few years I get a check back for 15 X’s what I gave him?"

Phil Mickelson cheers for an 8-year-old girl who beat cancer

On Thursday, Interesting Things shared a picture of an 8-year-old girl who beat cancer and attended her first NFL game. They shared a snap of the girl smiling, holding a board with text:

“I beat cancer! My first NFL game.”

She wore a San Francisco 49ers cap. Sharing the post, Interesting Things wrote:

"8 year old girl beat cancer and attended her first NFL game"

It was reshared by Phil Mickelson with a one-word caption. He wrote:

"Amazing"

Meanwhile, on the greens, Phil Mickelson last played at the LIV Golf Michigan event in August. He has been enjoying an offseason these days, as there are still a few weeks to go before the start of the new season of the Saudi league. This season on the LIV Golf, Mickelson started his campaign at the Adelaide event.

He carded three rounds of 72, 74, and 68 in the event and settled in T23 place. He then finished in solo third place at the Hong Kong event. Some of his other notable performances on the LIV Golf circuit are solo third at the Miami event, T4 at the Virginia, and T25 in the Chicago events.

Aside from the LIV Golf events, Mickelson also played in the majors this season. However, he had a tough time on the greens and missed the cut in three of the four events. He settled in T56 at The Open Championship after playing four rounds of 70, 72, 76, and 67.
