When a locksmith opened the actor’s door, he was found unresponsive on the floor.
Greene was pronounced dead at the scene.
The “Bluestreak” star’s neighbor alleged that his body was found facedown and surrounded by blood, per the New York Daily News.
Investigators claimed there was no foul play, though an autopsy report is pending.
Greene’s manager, Gregg Edwards, revealed he spoke to his client and friend on Wednesday, two days before his body was discovered.
“It was just a totally normal conversation,” Edwards told The Post.
Edwards shared that Greene expressed his worries about undergoing surgery to remove a benign tumor near his lung.
The surgery was scheduled for Friday — the same day he was found dead.
“He was a little nervous about the operation going in, but he said it wasn’t super serious,” Edwards said. “He sounded okay. It was just a totally normal conversation.”
Greene is survived by his son, Ryder, 16.
