The third season of Disney+’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians is headed our way this November, and today we got our first full trailer hinting at what’s in store for Percy and his friends in the upcoming episodes.
In it, we see Percy prepping for an imminent war with the Titans and teaming up with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), Grover (Aryan Simhadri), and Thalia (Tamara Smart), daughter of Zeus. The team is set up to protect children who don’t yet know they’re half-bloods, presumably from the Titans. A related altercation leads to Annabeth getting abducted, and Percy is sent on a quest to save her… because they’re just good friends, no burgeoning hormonal feelings between the two at all, Percy swears, though Kate McKinnon, who is wonderfully cast as Aphrodite, knows better.
Here’s the official synopsis for season three, which sheds more light on the situation:
If Percy Jackson learned anything after completing two epic quests with Annabeth Chase, it’s that he would be lost without her. So when Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her. He must free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. With Grover by his side, Percy must join some unlikely questmates to confront a prophecy with dire consequences.
Those who’ve read The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s series on which the show is based, know that the goddess in chains is Artemis, who will be played in the show by Dafne Keen.
We’ll get to see how the story unfolds when season three of Percy Jackson & the Olympians premieres on Disney+ on November 20, 2026, with new episodes releasing weekly after that.
While we wait, check out the trailer below.
