Manchester City are going to Wembley to face Crystal Palace in the final of the FA Cup on May 17.
City bagged a 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, sealing their third consecutive qualification to the competition's last round.
Pep Guardiola's squad have not been able to maintain their usual stride while being riddled with injuries this season. Following their elimination from the Champions League in February, and now, Liverpool winning the Premier League title, lifting the FA Cup is City's only hope of silverware in this campaign.
While Man City seem to be making the most of what they have left for the remainder of the campaign, Guardiola has established that 'the season hasn't been good' and decisions need to be made by the club for the next.
What did Pep Guardiola say about Man City for the next season?
Guardiola has been often candid about his squad's form this season. Following the win against Nottingham Forest, the Catalan manager mentioned that even the FA Cup title or Champions League qualification for the next campaign would not fix the slip-ups in this one.

Guardiola also spoke (comments via BBC Sport) about how Man City needs to take the 'right' decisions for the upcoming season to be better.
"No. The damage would be minimum. It's not going to confuse [that] the season has been good. The club has to take the decision, the right ones, so next season will be better," he said.
"We are a thousand million points behind Liverpool. I said many times the season hasn't been good because we define if the season is good or not with the Premier League. This season it could not happen, at the same time we tried to avoid the damage. We have to be calm now and recover," concluded Guardiola.
It appears that significant changes are expected in the Man City squad over the summer.
