"Honest truth Jaxon Dart is what we thought Caleb Williams would be," McCoy tweeted on Sunday.Jaxson Dart took over as the Giants' starting quarterback in Week 4. He led the team to a 21-18 win over the LA Chargers. New York only won once after that Chargers victory, which happened against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6 (34-17).
Although the wins haven't come, Dart has demonstrated that he is the present and the future of the NFC East franchise.
On the other side, while he is making strides under Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams has failed to shock fans the same way Williams has. The second-year quarterback entered Sunday's duel with 158 completions on 257 attempts, 1,959 yards and 12 touchdowns against four interceptions. Additionally, he has carried the ball 40 times for 183 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bears (5-3) entered the game eager to secure another win, but Dart put up a big fight until he left the field.
