Graham Walker didn't stick around after the Chiefs' rookie minicamp.
Soon after, he was rocking Carolina Panthers colors at their own rookie sessions.
And Walker, the half-brother of Patrick Mahomes (son of Pat Sr.), might have a clear path to Carolina's roster.
"The Panthers drafted Notre Dame's Mitchell Evans in the fifth round in April, but will likely look to sign another tight end to the 90-man roster heading into training camp," SI's Schuyler Callihan writes. "Perhaps Walker gets that call."

Walker played at Brown University from 2020-2023. In 2024, Walker transferred to Rice and converted from WR to TE.
The tight end had 24 catches for 252 yards with the Owls.
He's 6-foot-3 and 215-pounds, a solid red-zone target if a bit undersized for an NFL tight end.
The Panthers should continue to do everything they can to help young QB Bryce Young succeed.
If that means adding Mahomes' half-brother, it's a move worth making.
Walker seems to have enough interest from NFL teams to pursue an opportunity elsewhere if Carolina doesn't want him.
The Chiefs could still be in play, too. At this point, it may be a few weeks closer to training camp before guys like Walker sign on with teams for good.
