OneRepublic will release a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl of Native on November 13. The 15-track pressing is filled with golden star glitter, a visual nod to “Counting Stars,” the album’s lead single. The band announced the edition on November 6, with pre-orders now available.
The tracklist includes “Love Runs Out,” “Feel Again,” “I Lived,” “Life in Color” and “If I Lose Myself (Alesso vs OneRepublic),” alongside “Counting Stars” and ten other songs. Originally released in 2013, Native is the band’s third studio album. (The band’s debut, Dreaming Out Loud, arrived in 2007, followed by Waking Up in 2009.) Native expanded the band’s polished pop-rock sound with electronic and dance influences, while the aforementioned singles helped make it their commercial breakthrough. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the band’s first Top 10 entry, and went on to earn platinum certification in the U.S.; “Counting Stars” became a global hit.
OneRepublic - Let's Hurt Tonight (The Lost Video)
The vinyl announcement follows the recent release of “Let’s Hurt Tonight (The Lost Video),” an archival clip directed by Samuel Bayer. Shot in Mexico City in 2016, the video was filmed around a Día de Muertos procession staged for the production. The holiday honors the dead and is observed on November 1 and 2; the video premiered earlier this week.
