Olivia Babcock made her feelings known about the Texas A&M player, Logan Lednicky, signing up with LOVB Houston. The Aggies became the National Champion for the first time in school history.
Babcock and her team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, were bested in the National semi-final round against Texas A&M on December 18. The Aggies delivered an impressive performance, sweeping their contenders with a 3-0 (29-27, 25-21, 25-20) score. In this game Babcock registered 22 kills, 6 blocks, and 2 assists, trying her best to prevail over the Aggies.
Texas A&M eventually won the national championship after defeating the Kentucky Wildcats on December 21. Days after the historic achievement, the Aggies' opposite hitter, Lednicky, signed with the LOVB Houston for the upcoming 2026 volleyball season.
Babcock congratulated Lednicky by reposting the news on her Instagram story along with a note that read:

Along with her players, such as Kyndal Stowers, Ifenna Cos-Okpalla also delivered impressive performances, leading their team towards the National Championship victory.

Days after her team's elimination from the 2025 NCAA volleyball championships in the Final Four, Olivia Babcock received the National Player of the Year Award for the second consecutive time. Following the achievement, she sat for a conversation with the NCAA's Michella Chester.
During the interview she opened up about what the NPOTY award meant for her. Thanking her team for trusting her and making her confident during their matches.
"Yeah. I mean I'm just so honored that my team could trust me to be a leader, two consecutive years. I feel like it's just a testament to my team. I feel like the confidence. I have on the court is a direct reflection of the confidence they put in me. So I feel like I'm just able to perform for them and that just means so much to me. And then also there are Just so many deserving athletes. Like I really didn't think I was gonna win it because everyone was so deserving of and I was so proud," said Olivia Babcock.The Panthers' right-side hitter recently shared her final message of the season on Instagram. She posted a bunch of pictures of her and her team and penned a caption about coming back stronger in the 2026 season. Olivia Babcock registered a career high of 5.11 kills and 2.11 digs per set each this season.
