Ohio State has a chance to make history at the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Buckeyes won the first 12-team College Football Playoff championship under Ryan Day in 2024. Ohio State finished 14-2, and now the Buckeyes will likely have their largest draft class in school history. A total of 15 Ohio State players were invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine – the most players from one FBS school this year

The Buckeyes led all teams with four first-round picks on Thursday. That included Emeka Egbuka, Donovan Jackson, Tyleik Williams and Josh Simmons.

Ohio State players drafted in 2025 NFL Draft

Here is a look at the Ohio State players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft:

  • Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 19)

Egbuka (6-1, 202) is the fifth Ohio State receiver to be drafted in the first round in the last four years. Egbuka had 81 catches for 1,011 yards and 10 TDs as a senior. He is a fantastic route runner who is the program's all-time leader in receptions and adds another reliable target for Baker Mayfield.

  • Donovan Jackson, G, Minnesota Vikings (No. 24)

Jackson (6-4, 315), a first-team SN All-American, has the ability to play either guard or tackle at a high level and adds depth to the Vikings' offensive line. He is a solid first-round pick.

  • Tyleik Williams, Detroit Lions (No. 28)

Williams (6-3, 334) battled through injuries as a senior, but he totaled 99 tackles and 5.5 sacks the last two seasons and the bet interior defender for the Buckeyes. That will help improve Detroit's run defense that slipped toward the end of last season.

  • Josh Simmons, T, Kansas City Chiefs (No. 32)

Simmons (6-5, 317) gives the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes II some much-needed help on the offensive line. Simmons allowed just one sack the last two seasons.

  • Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns (No. 36)

Judkins (6-0, 221) rushed for 1,060 yards and 14 TDs for the Buckeyes last season. He is a powerful running back who adds much-needed depth to the Cleveland backfield.

  • TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots (No. 38)

Henderson (5-10, 202) rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 TDs for the Buckeyes last season as part of a tag-team with Judkins. Henderson also averaged 7.1 yards per carry. It's a splash pick for first-year coach Mike Vrabel.

  • JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Indianapolis Colts (No. 45)

Tuimoloau (6-5, 269) had 12.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss as a powerful edge rusher. He had 6.5 sacks in four College Football Playoff games as a driving force in that national championship run.

Most Ohio State players drafted in a single draft

Ohio State had 14 players selected in the 2004 NFL Draft – which was the record at the time. The Buckeyes had three first-round picks in that class with Will Smith, Chris Gamble and Michael Jenkins.

Which school has the record for most picks in a single NFL Draft?

Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, and that included five first-round picks led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker. Ohio State (2004) and LSU (2020) each had 14 players selected, and Michigan (2024) had 13 players taken in last year's draft after winning the national championship.

When is Jeremiah Smith eligible for the NFL Draft?

Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith had 76 catches for 1,315 yards and 15 TDs as a freshman with the Buckeyes – which had several NFL Draft analysts wondering whether he would be the No. 1 pick in this draft. Smith, however, has two more seasons of college left before he is eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft.

How many NFL Draft picks does Ryan Day have at Ohio State?

Day took over at Ohio State in 2019, and this will be his sixth draft class with the Buckeyes. Ohio State has 35 NFL Draft picks and 10 first-round picks the last five seasons under Day.
