The Ohio State Buckeyes had multiple winners of the Ohio Mr. Basketball award on their roster this past season.
At least one is leaving for new pastures via the transfer portal.
Colin White has been reported as entering the portal, according to northwest Ohio TV station WOSN.
White was a high school star at Ottawa-Glandorf, and he's one of the few players in state history from a small school to win the Mr. Basketball award for the top boys basketball high school player in the state.
The athletic 6-foot-6 wing was a solid get for the Buckeyes, who have done a decent job at in-state recruiting in recent years.

White never really broke through for the Buckeyes, though.
In his freshman season, he got into 19 games and averaged 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
This winter, White played in 29 games and averaged 0.9 points and 1.0 rebounds.
He shot just 19.4% from 3-point range in his college career.
White has a strong talent level that should allow him to find more success if he transfers down the ladder to a mid-major school. Given the strength of a few of the MAC programs, White could even stay in-state if he wanted to go that route.
Ohio State will likely have more work to do this offseason than just replacing White, but at least the Buckeyes know one opening on the roster.
