The Los Angeles Dodgers will have a lot of fun coming up, as the defending back-to-back World Series champions will take on the Toronto Blue Jays starting next Monday. The Blue Jays and Dodgers face off again, with many viewing the Dodgers as the clear favorite to go back-to-back-to-back. Toronto, on the other hand, is certainly a very good team, but isn't what the Dodgers are, and that's not a shot at them, but just the reality of how good Los Angeles is.
While the World Series was excellent for all fans to watch, and it was action-packed, there were also some tense moments. Left-hander Justin Wrobleski got into some heated arguments during his time on the mound in the World Series in Toronto after throwing up and in multiple times. Heading into this series, the youngster is ready to go.
And he’s clearly embracing it.
“It’s gonna be great,” Wrobleski said. “They’re gonna boo me and it’s gonna be really awesome. That’s what makes sports great. If I were a Toronto fan, I probably wouldn’t like me either.”
Honestly, stuff like this is great for baseball. The youngster wants to go out there and have fun and is also embracing the fact that Blue Jays fans are going to let him hear about it.
There's a reason why that World Series was so much fun, and a lot of it is because the Blue Jays and Dodgers have two excellent fan bases. This is what makes baseball baseball, so I'm excited to see how fans welcome him back.
