Nick Sirianni was a very relieved man when the Philadelphia Eagles withstood a late rally to win 13-12 at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. And he had some very strong words for the Mafia that had gathered in Orchard Park.
As the defending Super Bowl champions made their way back to the locker room, the head coach could be heard saying:
"Not so much (talking) anymore! Love this (expletive)!"•

The game looked over after the first half, as the Eagles' defense shut out the Bills' offense, while Jalen Hurts, Dallas Goedert, and Jake Elliott conspired to put points on the board.
But in the fourth quarter, Josh Allen single-handedly tried to will the hosts with rushing touchdowns on back-to-back drives. Unfortunately, the hosts would be done in by failed extra points. Machael Badgley's kick was blocked, then Khalil Shakir failed to catch what would have been a game-winning two-pointer.
Hurts finished the game with 13 of 27 attempts completed for 110 yards and a touchdown to Goedert, while Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown finished with 68 offensive yards apiece from 19 carries and five receptions, respectively.
For the Bills, Brandin Cooks had his best game since joining the team, covering 101 yards on four catches. James Cook, meanwhile, was held to 74 yards after exploding for over a hundred in his last two games.
Nick Sirianni addresses Eagles' win at Bills
After the game, Nick Sirianni took the stand to share his thoughts. He said:
“I put it on myself. ... (Offensive coordinator) Kevin (Patullo) did a good job in that first half. But I’ve got to help in that second half a little bit, get into some things we want to get called there.”He also praised the Bills, especially Josh Allen, for fighting back after scoring zero points in the first half:
"It's hard to win a road football game against this type of team with that caliber of quarterback. ... I said to the guys, 'I don't care if it's 48-47 or 13-12 .... you have to give yourself points to win, and you have to be super critical of yourself and of how you get better from this.'"The Eagles will end their season with a rematch against the Washington Commanders at home.
