Conservative podcaster Brandon Tatum shared his reaction to Candace Owens' accusations against Turning Point USA. In Monday’s episode of his podcast, Tatum reacted to events that unfolded at this year’s AmFest, which concluded on Sunday. Tatum, who also delivered a speech at the event, shared his reaction to the escalated tension between Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens.
For the unversed, on the opening day of AmericaFest, Shapiro blasted Owens and urged other conservative figures to call her out publicly. Shapiro lashed out at Owens for accusing TPUSA of a cover-up in Charlie Kirk's death. The speech sent waves across the internet. On next day, Candace Owens clapped back at Ben Shapiro in her podcast episode.
The Candace host launched a verbal tirade against the Daily Wire's co-founder and said, "Truly, Ben Shapiro, f**k you and the midget horse that you rode in on." Ben Shapiro, in his speech, also criticized Megyn Kelly for not calling out Owens. Kelly also hit back at Shapiro and said she didn't consider Shapiro her friend.
While discussing the aforementioned controversy, Brandon Tatum shared his thoughts on Candace Owens' accusations.
"Candace is my friend. But I disagree with her. I call out everything that she said about Turning Point being involved and everything. I disagree with it. I think, to me, it is nonsensical to think that Turning Point, with no evidence, has something to do with Charlie's death or covering up his death... The hatred towards Israel and the things that Candace has said about Israel, I disagree with," Tatum said.Later in the episode, Brandon Tatum said that he couldn't understand the backlash against Ben Shapiro. At the same time, The Officer Tatum's host recalled that he got very upset when Ben Shapiro fired Candace Owens from Daily Wire.
Brandon Tatum was among the very few people who supported Owens’ claims about an alleged assassination threat. For context, last month, Owens alleged that the First Couple of France had paid for her assassination. Back then, Brandon Tatum extended his support and said that her claims must be investigated thoroughly.
