Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa led his team to an impressive 30-13 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 on Sunday. Tagovailoa went 15 of 21 for 173 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Dolphins have had their fair share of struggles early in the season, but with two wins in their past three games, it appears that the team is finding some rhythm.
When Miami was losing games this season, Tagovailoa often made headlines for his struggles on the field and his post-game comments, with many suggesting that the QB wasn't taking enough responsibility. On Wednesday, the Dolphins signal-caller said he made a few mistakes this season, including that of throwing his teammates under the bus.
"I was asked the question in a production meeting about what was the biggest challenge for me this year, that I thought whether it was playing, whether it was on the field or off the field," Tua Tagovailoa said. "And I think the biggest one for me was off the field with the game after the (Los Angeles) Chargers, because of what I said, given my leadership role on the team, sharing things with the guys, telling guys, you know what the expectations are, and then our rule number 1 for the team is to protect the team. And then I go out and say what I say in the media. Regardless of what my intent was, you know that none of that should have been shared, none of that should have been said.•
