Podcaster and rapper Joe Budden has commented on NLE Choppa firing shots at NBA YoungBoy in his new diss track, KO.

Speaking on the Joe Budden podcast, Budden spoke about Choppa and YoungBoy's feud and said:

"I don't know what the f*ck he doing. Nobody asked for this gay Broadway version to hit him up. Yes, whoever that is, whoever that is, because I'm seeing skipping around. He got a young playing NBA YoungBoy. I hope you didn't go to a casting audition for this. Like, yes, homeboy. Look nuts. Everything about this looks nuts. And maybe I feel differently."

In his latest track, KO, NLE Choppa (now known as NLE the Great) used the sample of Dennis Edwards' Don't Look Any Further, which was famously used by 2Pac in his track Hit Em Up. He seemingly fired shots at YoungBoy in the lyrics, hinting that he "poisons the youth."

"I put one up in your gun under the Jesus piece./You poison the youth, nothin’ positive you do You the reason n—s beating bitches thinking that it’s cute/ You send n—s to do what you wouldn’t even do/ Role model, you will never fit the shoe," he rapped.

2Pac's original track, Hit' Em Up, was also a diss track aimed at his rival, Biggie Smalls. NLE Choppa also released an accompanying video, which included alleged digs at NBA YoungBoy as well.

On October 30, NLE Choppa, aka NLE the Great, dropped his diss track, KO, aimed at NBA YoungBoy. He also dropped a music video for the same, where he was seen performing dance moves inspired by Michael Jackson and 2Pac. He also paid homage to some of his heroes in the video, including Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Prince, and Michael Jackson.

In one verse, Choppa namedropped YoungBoy and rapped:

“YoungBoy, what? This the big boy league/ I put one up in your gut under the Jesus piece/ Last thing that I heard was ‘Jesus, please’/ Had me looking at the devil like ‘This is your king,'”

In lyrics claiming he is "poison to the youth", Choppa included an alleged lookalike of NBA YoungBoy in the music video. After the song's release, Choppa also reiterated his stance on Instagram, claiming he stands by everything he said in the song.

"This ain’t a fire drill. I’m standing on everything I’m saying. I stamp it," he wrote on his Instagram story.

It is worth noting that NLE Choppa has previously supported the movement to free YoungBoy. He has released tracks such as Free Youngboy and Free Youngboy 2 in 2019, when the rapper was in prison on federal gun charges. The rapper was also involved in a feud with YB's archrival, Quando Rondo, in the past.

However, YoungBoy and Choppa have been in a feud since January 2022, when the former dissed the latter in the track, Know Like I Know. The song was in response to Choppa defending King Von, with whom YB was feuding at that time.
