Nick Aldis could embrace the dark side and crown a new corporate champion. The SmackDown general manager's job has gotten increasingly difficult lately, thanks to the heated rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
Aldis had suspended the Scotsman last month for attacking a referee. However, the Undisputed WWE Champion pushed to get him reinstated, as he has a score to settle with McIntyre.
The National Treasure arranged a meeting with The Scottish Warrior at his house to negotiate the terms of his reinstatement, but it was disrupted by Rhodes, who invaded McIntyre's property to attack him. Following this controversial incident, Nick Aldis could turn heel out of frustration and crown Drew McIntyre as his corporate champion.
Nick Aldis has agreed to Drew McIntyre's demands
McIntyre rejected all the terms provided by Nick Aldis during their meeting and countered with a list of specific demands for his return. The Scotsman wasn't satisfied with just a title shot against Cody Rhodes, as he also wanted to choose the stipulation for the match.

Moreover, he wanted the SmackDown general manager to prepare a legal document stating that if Rhodes puts his hands on him before their match, he would be stripped of the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Even though these demands seem unreasonable, Aldis reluctantly agreed to them. However, before any legal document was drawn up, Rhodes attacked McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior blamed Nick Aldis for setting him up, which The National Treasure denied.
If McIntyre's actions weren't bothersome enough for the SmackDown general manager, The American Nightmare has also become aggressive and reckless. While Aldis has been an impartial authority figure on the blue brand thus far, he could finally snap and pick a side.
Rhodes certainly crossed a line by invading The Scottish Warrior's home. Moreover, the blame for his actions fell on Aldis, who seemingly had nothing to do with it. The SmackDown general manager could hold a grudge against Rhodes for this and exact revenge on QB1 by aligning with Drew McIntyre.
Aldis could help the 40-year-old dethrone Cody Rhodes as the Undisputed WWE Champion in their title match. That said, this scenario is only speculative, and nothing has been confirmed. It remains to be seen how this storyline progresses in the coming weeks.
