Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Fame Scott "Big Poppa Pump" Steiner, was suspended six games by the NFL to begin the 2026 season. Rechsteiner signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State after playing three seasons for the Gamecocks.
Saints WR Brock Rechsteiner has been suspended for the first six games of the 2026 season. He is eligible to participate in all preseason activities, including games; his suspension will take effect when rosters are reduced to 53 players.

Rechsteiner played three seasons for Jacksonville State, totaling 53 catches, 629 receiving yards and seven touchdowns over 37 games. He went undrafted during the 2026 NFL Draft but signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in the offseason.
NFL substance abuse suspension policy
Any player found to have violated the NFL's substance abuse policy will be automatically suspended by the league. The player can still participate in preseason activities, but once the regular season begins, the player can't be part of team activities until the suspension is over.
The length of the suspension varies depending on the offense. In Rechsteiner's case, the NFL deemed his substance abuse violation worthy of a six-game suspension.
