NFL Fans Shocked by Philadelphia Eagles Player's Pro Bowl Nod

1 hour ago 3

The NFL announced the 2025-2026 Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday morning. Several members of the Philadelphia Eagles made the list.

While the team was proud to reveal the five members that could potentially represent the Eagles on the Pro Bowl stage, many fans were shocked to see that the starting center, Cam Jurgens, made the team.

On the social media platform X, Eagles fans couldn’t hold back from expressing just how stunned they were after seeing the final results.

NFL Fans Are Shocked About Cam Jurgens

@plzget_gud: Cam Jurgens scamming a probowl appearance

@FnrawFlash: Cam Jurgens should not be a Pro Bowler and Jordan Davis should replace Jalen Carter

@QB_Eagles1990: Cam Jurgens and not Jordan Davis is criminal. I’m not sure Jurgens has played like a top 15 center this year.

@CliffNotez_: The Eagles have another Cam Jurgens on the roster??

Since Jason Kelce’s retirement, the Eagles have rolled with Jurgens as the starting center. The 26-year-old is a former Nebraska standout who was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft (51st overall).

When the Eagles landed Jurgens, it was clear he was being brought on to take over for Kelce, who was going to call it a career soon. During his rookie season, he played in just three percent of the Eagles’ offensive snaps.

That numbers jumped up to 89 percent as the Eagles utilized him elsewhere for 11 games during the 2023 season. Once Kelce called it a career, Jurgens took over officially during the 2024 season.

Last year, Jurgens appeared in 16 games for the Eagles. He earned his first Pro Bowl nod. As the Eagles continued to have one of the best front lines in the NFL, Jurgens was rewarded for his play with the nod on his resume. However, he didn’t get a chance to compete, as the Eagles played in the Super Bowl.

@Nappy_Marley: It’s crazy everyone on the same page about Jurgens

@Ctrain888: Cam?

@DavePlsRetire: DOES THAT SAY CAM JURGENS? LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

@drmuonfunk: Jurgen's was injured half the season.  Not his best year.

Unfortunately, Jurgens and the Eagles’ offensive front have not been as strong in 2025. The run game has had its struggles, and it shows in Saquon Barkley’s significant drop in production after a record-breaking season in 2024.

Despite the fans’ shock, it won’t take away Jurgens’ second Pro Bowl nod. Unless the Eagles make the Super Bowl for the second season in a row, Jurgens will get an opportunity to be the only member of the Eagles’ offense to participate in the game. On the other side, Cooper DeJean, Jalen Carter, Zack Baun, and Quinyon Mitchell will represent the defense.
