The Indianapolis Colts have one glaring roster need above the rest.
Entering the 2025 NFL Draft, it's abundantly clear that general manager Chris Ballard needs to add a more dynamic pass-catching option at the tight end position.
Of course, other teams have taken notice as well. With the duo of Penn State's Tyler Warren and Michigan's Colston Loveland expected to go in the first round, some teams may be looking to move up in the draft order.
In fact, Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN reported that "a few teams might even be trying to trade ahead of Indianapolis to get Loveland, though it's unclear which ones."
The Colts would love to land either Warren or Loveland, but both prospects have seen their respective stocks rise over the course of the pre-draft process.
Warren is the more complete tight end, bringing value both as a blocker and a receiver. However, he's an older prospect and only has one season of true production.

Loveland is more in the mold of a move tight end with limitations as a blocker. With that said, his production at Michigan as a receiver was consistent, and he's much young than Warren.
It will be interesting to see if any teams jump the Colts in the draft order to grab one of the tight end prospects, so it will be a storyline to watch.
