During a December 15 live broadcast on Weverse, Jungkook broke down how the phrase “Tie Me Up” entered BTS’ shared vocabulary. The GOLDEN maknae pointed to Jin’s RunSeokjin_Ep.Tour solo concert as the starting point, which he attended alongside RM, Jimin, and Taehyung. There, after watching the stages together, Taehyung commented on one performance. While referring to Jin's 2025 song titled Rope It, he mistakenly called it “Tie Me Up.”

Jungkook explained that the slip amused the group. The phrase began circulating among the members soon after. He added that with repeated use, it gradually stuck with them. From that concert onward, the members continued calling the track by the altered name. The reference had surfaced earlier in public content, too.

Backstage, during the RunSeokjin_Ep.Tour episode tour, Jin recalled V saying he enjoyed “Tie Me Up.” The joke reappeared during a joint live session. The moment has sparked jokes among ARMYs.

BTS reunite with a group selfie

All seven members of BTS surfaced together once more, reigniting discussion around a potential full-group return. On December 12, RM, j-hope, V, and SUGA uploaded multiple images to social platforms. The photos captured the group inside a training space. RM, Jin, SUGA, Hobi, Jimin, V, and Jungkook stood relaxed near mirrored walls, including an uncommon frame showing all seven together.

The timing immediately stood out. The five of seven banmates wrapped up mandatory enlistment earlier this year. The group has already shared plans for a spring album launch, with a reported massive global tour expected afterward. Now, the rehearsal setting led many to interpret the gathering as part of early preparations.
