AEW introduced a major championship on tonight's Dynamite. The inaugural champion will be crowned at Full Gear. The first three participants for the title were also announced on the show immediately. It seems like the contest at the pay-per-view might have some storied action.

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have officially entered the Full Gear's Casino Gauntlet Match with a blockbuster stipulation that has returned for the first time since All In: Texas. The winner of the match at the upcoming pay-per-view will be crowned the first-ever AEW National Champion. Tony Schiavone summoned the Hurt Syndicate in the ring, and MVP pointed out why the two deserved the spot.

Later, the Demand interrupted the Syndicate, and after a few back-and-forth jabs, Ricochet too announced his entry in the Casino Gauntlet contest. It remains to be seen who else joins the contest ahead of Full Gear.

AEW's MVP talks about adding a new member to the Hurt Syndicate

Since the Hurt Syndicate stepped foot into AEW, fans have been wanting a fourth member in the group. Montel shed some light on the possibility.

While speaking on Inside The Ring, MVP said that the faction has always been open to bringing in a fourth member. He claimed that they are even willing to add a female star to the group.

“Of course it’s possible. It’s always possible. We have said for a long time that we’d be interested in adding a fourth member — a younger member. Kind of like how Cedric [Alexander] was before. I know somebody reported recently that there were talks about adding a new member to the Hurt Syndicate — news to me. It’s always a conversation we’re open to. In the past, we’ve had talks about adding a woman to the group," he said.

It remains to be seen what is next for the Hurt Syndicate, as Ricochet and Gates of Agony have been after them these past months.
