Venus Williams and her fiancé, Andrea Preti, turned heads at the CFDA Fashion Awards with their stylish and elegant black outfits. The event took place on November 3, 2025, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
Williams made a comeback to tennis this year after a hiatus of sixteen months. She started her season with the Citi Open, where she reached the second round, and wrapped it up with the US Open. The American is currently enjoying her off-season and most recently attended the CFDA Fashion Awards with her fiancé.

Venus Williams was away from the sport for 16 months after competing at the Miami Open in March last year. She returned to the tennis court in July this year at the Citi Open, where she competed in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles tournaments too.
Amid this, she sat for a press conference and revealed how her fiancé Andrea Preti played a major role in her comeback. She also opened up about how tough tennis is and the hard work it requires.
"Yes, my fiancé is here. He really encouraged me to keep playing. There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don’t know how much work goes into this, like it’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time. Lifting weights and just like dying and then you repeat it the next day. So he encouraged me to get through this and it’s wonderful to be here. He’s never seen me play," said Venus Williams.Venus Williams is expected to start her 2026 season by competing at the ASB Classic.
