Kumail Nanjiani addressed a rumor about a possible romance involving him and Michelle Obama. In the December 25 episode of So True with Caleb Hearon, The comedian discussed a strange rumor involving him. Nanjiani shared that until last year, he hadn’t known there was gossip circulating about him and the former First Lady.
The actor recalled an incident when someone pulled his wife, Emily Gordon, aside and told her that he was "having an affair with Michelle Obama." Kumail Nanjiani said that he was so excited to hear this. However, the actor clarified that he never even met the former First Lady.
"Our mutual friend pulled Emily aside and was like, 'Hey, so I heard that Kumail and Michelle Obama are like doing it.' And she was like, she wasn't even upset, but multiple people brought it up to me. I've never met Michelle Obama," Kumail Nanjiani stated.Shortly after, Caleb Hearon pointed out that it was the same time when there was a viral rumor going on about Barack Obama and Jennifer Aniston. Nanjiani was taken aback and asked the host if he thought it was real. In his response, Hearon playfully drew parallels between Nanjiani and Jennifer Aniston. Nanjiani came up with a humorous response and said:
"No, I think Michelle is slumming it, and Barack, to be honest, no shade to Jen. Barack's loving it, too."In October last year, Jennifer Aniston also addressed the rumor linking her to the former president on Jimmy Kimmel's show. During a segment, Kimmel showed a magazine cover to the Friends alum, which read, "The Truth about Jen & Barack." Aniston seemed shocked by the title and said she wasn't even upset about it. Kimmel asked Aniston if there was any "truth" in the rumor.
"That is absolutely untrue... I've met him once. I know Michelle more than him," Aniston replied.Speculation about possible marital tension between Michelle and Barack Obama surfaced earlier this year.

We are 60.”
