The Buffalo Bills are back at St. John Fisher University for training camp outside of Rochester, N.Y.
The Keon Coleman saga continues to add new chapters.
Coleman is heading toward his third season in Buffalo, and he'll have to do much better than he did in year two -- if he doesn't, his future with the Bills will be in doubt.
That puts all kinds of scrutiny on him as training camp gets rolling, and he didn't start great on Wednesday.
Josh Allen targeted Coleman with the very first pass in the team period during 7-on-7, and Coleman droppped it:

Coleman did earn some post-practice praise from president of football operations Brandon Beane, because the Bills went right back to Coleman after his drop and he made a catch on the very next play.
That's not the only part of Wednesday's practice that featured a notable Coleman moment, though. He also was returning punts.
The Bills are looking for ways to use Coleman's talent with the ball in his hands, and if he can handle punt returns, that'd be a fascinating addition to his contributions:

— alex brasky (@alexbrasky) July 29, 2026The Bills added DJ Moore in a trade from the Chicago Bears this offseason, and Moore made multiple impressive catches on Wednesday in the rain.
Moore's presence makes it even tougher for Coleman to find a way to break through in his third season, but Coleman was always going to have to work uphill this season.
Not everything was perfect for Coleman on Wednesday, but as usual, it was interesting.
